Grace and peace be multiplied unto you, from our great God and Savior, the  Lord Jesus   Christ.
As a Church, we will observe a sacred season of spiritual renewal beginning on  January 7, 2026. Together, we will seek God’s face through prayer and fasting,  focusing on Repentance, Restoration, and Revival.  This special period is an intentional step for our Church family to draw closer to the heart of God, individually and corporately. It’s an opportunity to humble ourselves, deepen our faith, and prepare our spirits for what God desires to do in our lives and in our Church in the new year.
Setting aside these 16 days will create a powerful spiritual momentum, allowing us to align our hearts and minds with His Divine will. It is a time for introspection, a recommitment to our spiritual walk, and an expectation of God’s transformative power.
Our focus on three foundational themes will guide our prayers:
Repentance: Turning away from sin and toward God, acknowledging His holiness and seeking His forgiveness. It’s about a sincere change of heart and direction. As it is written, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked  ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their  land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Restoration: Believing for God to mend what is broken, heal wounds, and bring back what has been lost. This applies to our personal lives, relationships, and the spiritual health of our Church and our community. We pray for God to “restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.” (Psalm 51:12)
Revival: A fervent desire for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit, igniting passion for God and His mission within us and among us. We long to see lives transformed, communities impacted, and His glory revealed in greater measure.  We echo the prophet Habakkuk’s plea: “Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.” (Habakkuk 3:2)
We encourage every member to participate wholeheartedly, trusting that as we consecrate this time to the Lord, He will meet us in profound ways. Let us enter this season with open hearts, ready to receive all that God has for us.
We kindly request that every member (excluding those who cannot go without food for extended periods due to a diagnosed medical condition) limit themselves to one evening meal, to be consumed after 5 p.m. It is permissible to engage in protracted fasting if you so desire.
Water can be consumed throughout the day as needed for hydration. Members currently taking medications are encouraged to consult their doctors before participating in fasting. If your doctor advises against fasting, we encourage you to fully engage in praying each day for the specified prayer needs, knowing your prayers are equally powerful and valued.
We ask that you dedicate time to pray three times daily: in the morning, at noon,  and in the evening. Please make a special effort to participate in all prayer sessions.  The dedicated UAC Prayer Line number for virtual prayer times is (551-258-6254). Outside of these periods of congregational prayer, members are encouraged to meet in small groups to pray together, whether as families or with other brothers and sisters.
God bless you richly and abundantly!
