These SMS Terms and Conditions apply to text messages sent by United Apostolic Church (“UAC,” “the Church,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. SMS Consent Communication

Mobile telephone numbers obtained through the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of making a donation, attending a service, visiting the Church, or participating in a ministry.

2. Types of SMS Communications

If you have agreed to receive text messages from United Apostolic Church, you may receive messages concerning:

Planned church visits
Visitor welcome and follow-up
Sunday School attendance
Late or absent attendance notifications
Class, ministry, service, or event reminders
Responses to questions or requests
Church-related administrative communications

Examples include:

UAC Sunday School: Your attendance today was recorded as late. Please contact the Sunday School Director if you believe this is incorrect.
UAC Sunday School: Your attendance today was recorded as absent. Please contact the Sunday School Director if you believe this is incorrect.
UAC Sunday School: [Student Name]’s attendance today was recorded as late. Please contact the Sunday School teacher if you believe this is incorrect.

UAC will not send third-party marketing offers through this SMS service.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies according to your interaction with the Church, attendance records, requested follow-up, and ministry participation.

Most recipients should receive no more than approximately three messages per week, although the number may vary when you request assistance, participate in multiple ministries, or receive necessary administrative responses.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s pricing plan. Rates may vary for domestic and international messages.

UAC is not responsible for charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

5. Opt-In Methods

You may agree to receive SMS messages from United Apostolic Church by:

Submitting an online form
Completing a paper form
Providing consent verbally to an authorized church representative
Providing your number through an authorized church registration or administrative process

Where a parent or guardian supplies a number for a minor, attendance-related messages may be sent to that parent or guardian.

6. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from UAC.

You may also contact the Church directly and request removal from the SMS communication list.

After opting out, you may receive one final message confirming that your request has been processed. You will receive no further SMS messages unless you later provide permission again.

9. Delivery and Availability

10. Changes to These Terms

UAC may update these SMS Terms and Conditions when its communications, services, or legal requirements change. Updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
